Pricing

Car service prices in Woodside, NY

Every price on this page is the real out-the-door number for the common case — parts, labour and tax on the parts, not a headline that grows once the car is on the lift. Call with the year, make and model and we will tell you the actual number for your car before you book it in.

Before the numbers

What "the price" on this page actually includes

Every price below is the real out-the-door price for the common case, including parts, labour and tax on the parts. Prices vary with the vehicle — a brake job on a full-size pickup is not a brake job on a compact — so treat these as the honest middle rather than a headline. Call with your year, make and model and we will give you the actual number for your car before you come in.

  • Parts, labour and the tax on parts, in one number.
  • The price for the common case for that job, on that class of vehicle.
  • A written, vehicle-specific estimate always takes precedence over this page.
  • Call with the year, make, model and mileage for the real number on your car.

If you would rather not think about it

Pay as you go, or let us plan it for you

Most customers use Pay as you go and never sign anything. The Service Plan spreads a year of scheduled maintenance into one predictable monthly figure, and the Fleet plan does the same thing for a business running more than one vehicle.

Pay as you go

Fleet

From $79a vehicle, a month

Built around uptime rather than around price per job, because a van that cannot work on Monday costs more than any invoice we could send you.

  • Scheduled servicing planned around your working week
  • Overnight and weekend work so the vehicle is out earning by Monday
  • One monthly consolidated invoice, one point of contact
  • Vehicle history and cost per vehicle reported quarterly
  • Collection and return within three miles
  • Replacement van available during longer repairs

Best for: Three or more vehicles working out of Queens.

Every tier keeps the same 24 months / 24,000 miles warranty and the same written estimate before any work.

Free, always

What we never put on the invoice

Five things cost you nothing here, whatever the eventual answer turns out to be. None of them are a loss leader for something else — they are simply not for sale.

  • The documented inspection

Every car that comes in for anything goes on a lift and gets a full inspection first, whatever you actually booked. It takes about twenty minutes, it is free whether or not you buy anything afterwards, and it is the same inspection whether the car is worth two thousand dollars or eighty thousand.

  • A re-inspection under warranty

If something we fitted fails inside 24 months or 24,000 miles, looking at it costs you nothing, regardless of what the eventual answer turns out to be. We do not charge diagnostic time to find out whether our own work held.

  • An open recall check

Grace checks every car that comes through the door against open manufacturer recalls. It takes her two minutes, it has more than once saved a customer the cost of a part and a job a dealer would have covered for free, and we do it whether you ask or not.

  • Telling you a job belongs at a dealer

Long factory powertrain and battery warranties mean some jobs are genuinely better handled at a franchised dealer, at no cost to you. We will say so plainly and hand the keys back without billing you for the conversation.

  • Telling you that you do not need the work

We measure rather than guess — pad thickness, rotor wear, the actual reading rather than a rule of thumb. When the honest answer is that a job can wait, or does not need doing at all, you get that answer for nothing and the measurements to keep.

How the numbers are built

Labour, parts, and why we publish prices at all

Two decisions sit behind every price on this page: how long the job takes, and which grade of part goes on the car. Both are yours to know before you agree to either.

  • How labour time is charged

Every job on this page carries a fixed labour time for the common case, published up front rather than run on a clock that moves faster on a slow afternoon. Where a job is genuinely unpredictable, such as an intermittent electrical fault, we sell diagnostic time by the hour and say so before we start, not after.

  • OE parts

Original equipment, built to the same specification as the part the vehicle left the factory with, usually from the same supplier, at the manufacturer's price. We fit OE where fit or feel measurably differs from the alternative, or simply because you asked for it.

  • OE-equivalent aftermarket parts

Made to the same specification by an established manufacturer, priced below the badge on the box rather than below the standard. This is what most of the prices on this page assume, and it is what we would put on our own cars.

  • Customer-supplied parts

We will fit a part you supply and stand behind our labour on it as normal, but we did not choose or sell the part itself, so it sits outside our warranty. For brakes, steering, suspension and tires, we will decline a part we do not recognise and explain exactly why.

  • Why we publish any of this at all

Because the alternative is a shop that decides what to charge once your car is already on the lift and you have already taken the morning off work. A published price is a promise made before either side has any leverage over the other, which is the entire point of the exercise.
